Not Holding Back

Our favorite sparkling wine from Vynecrest Winery was chilling and we thought we were ready to celebrate the New Year from the comfort of our couch. At least until I read those words from a great photographer in Philadelphia I'm so glad to be connected to in Facebook. I looked at the clock; it was just after 11 P.M. I ...

Not Holding Back

Savannah was as ...

I mulled on it for a bit and when it was time to push to get my information and table ready for the Women2Women's Spring Expo, I realized I wanted to do this and made it my focus at the Expo. Just chatting here about this is sending bubbles up my nerves. My challenge is to photograph 30 women in 30 days and today I will start scheduling sessions to begin on Monday. I had an amazing turnout of women who signed up for ...

Not Holding Back

It was Women2Women's Annual Spring Expo and I decided to set up a table this year. I was so thrilled when I first jumped on board, but then realization hit with how tight the budget had gotten. I considered dropping out because I couldn't order any of the things I wanted to make a great display. The prints and mats were ordered Friday and arrived Monday; the event was on Tuesday. I had to get creative so I bought a moss table runner, wood glue, and gathered dead grass that had been cut back and saved for a project. I pulled out old supplies of twine, paint, satin varnish, brushes, stain, and two old frames I was going to use for yard ...
